Rapisardi Lolly, July and Candy sandals review
This range of sandals by Rapisardi offers a selection of summer styles which can be worn casually, or as work shoes if you opt for the more classic black/white colour styles.
What is immediately striking about these sandals when you pick them up is weight — they are much lighter even when compared to Gabor Lanzarote toe posts.
The sandals have a very simple design, making them very comfortable and lightweight on your foot.
As you can see, the main part of the sandal's upper is made from a fabric band which will be appreciated during the hot summer days. The fabric is elasticated for better fit.
Uppers are completed with 2 narrow strips of leather used to help keep the sandal securely on the foot. You will notice in our pictures that there are 2 different constructions available. Depending on the length of the front strip of leather, the shorter one makes up the toe post and the longer one - a classic mule design.

The Rapisardi June sandal features the metal detailing which is glued to the material strap, other styles offer different colours or prints on the material while the leather strips and lining stay black or pink.
The leather feels very pleasand and smooth. The colour and texture are impressively even, and the whole construction feels very rigid.
The sole has a wedge shape to it and is made of what looks like very fine polyurethane foam which is quite stiff if when you press on it but at the same time quite bendy and flexible. The footbed is neatly glued to the sole and all the straps are jammed between the two.
Overall the range looks very smart and offers a good variation to fit your particular outfit. It is also very competitively priced at under £40 a pair.
